MMMontella, comune della provincia di Avellino, è a 547 slm nell'Alta Valle del Calore.
La piana di Montella è assai fertile ed è coltivata soprattutto a cereali e a patate, ortaggi , frutta come noci e mele ed in collina castagne. Fiorisce l'allevamento del bestiame, in particolare delle mucche, ed un'abbondante produzione di latticini freschi e stagionali.
