invito nella mia città natale: Salerno.
Salerno è una città campana incastonata tra il
mare e le montagne, la città si trova tra due fra le più
belle Costiere del Mondo La Costiera Amalfitana a nord che inizia
con Vietri sul Mare e la costiera Cilentana a Sud che inizia
con Agropoli, la fertile piana del Sele che produce ortaggi durante
tutto l'anno. Il Cilento con tutti i suoi paesi dislocati in
montagna e lungo la riva del mare.
A pochissimi chilometri a nord Pompei, Ercolano, il Vesuvio ed
a sud Paestum, Velia e la grandiosa Certosa di San Lorenzo a
Padula ed altri castelli e centri storici di rinomati paesi.
Vi proporrò diversi scatti eseguiti in B&N e Colore
dall'inizio anni '60 ( purtoppo poche foto recuperate la maggioranza
sono andate perse ) rappresentetive della Città e dei
dintorni. Foto delle riccheze storiche di cui è piene
il centro storico.
Si sa, quando si abita in un posto si crede di conoscerlo bene
e non ci si sofferma a visitarlo con la minuziosa e puntigliosa
curiosità del turista. Approfittando quindi dell’occasione,
decido di visitare la città con altri occhi.

Salerno is a town bell set between the sea and mountains, the
city is located between two of the most beautiful coastlines
in the world The Amalfi Coast to the north starting with Vietri
sul Mare and the south coast of Cilento Agropoli beginning with
the fertile Sele plain, which produces vegetables year-round.
The Cilento with all its countries located in the mountains and
along the seashore.
A few miles north of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius and south
of Paestum, Velia, and the magnificent Certosa di San Lorenzo
in Padula and other castles and historic centers of well-known
countries.
I will propose several shots made in B & W and color from
the '60s (unfortunately few photos retrieved the majority are
lost) rappresentetive City and its surroundings. Photos of the
historical richness of the old town which is full.
You know, when you live in a place you think you know him well
and we do not stop to visit with the careful and meticulous curiosity
of tourists. So take advantage of the opportunity, I decided
to visit the city with new eyes.
