- L'abside di destra, è chiamata
cappella di Gregorio VII ( nel sarcofago sono deposte le spoglie
di gregorio VII ) o delle Crociate perchè si benedicevano
le armi e i crociati prima della partenza per la Terra Santa.
Il mosaico raffigura l'Arcangelo Michele e San Matteo benedicente
fra i Santi Fortunato, Giovanni, Giacomo e Lorenzo fatto eseguire,
tra il 1258 e il 1266, da Giovanni da Procida.
