In questa raccolta fotografica sono presenti immagini scattate in luoghi diversi: nei dintorni di Salerno e Costa d'Amalfi, nella campagna francese e in Olanda. Tra le fotografie si trovano scorci delle colline salernitane e di Cetara con la torre Torre Vicereale costruita in età angioina (XIV secolo) con funzioni di avvistamento e di prima difesa del Ducato di Amalfi. La torre fu anche la prigione di Federico d'Aragona, futuro Re di Napoli, il bastione è stato più volte rimaneggiato ed alla struttura originaria, di forma cilindrica, fu aggiunta la sopraelevazione a doppia altezza in epoca aragonese ed altri due piani a fine '800. Foto della campagna francese con il castello Château de la Roche-Courbon, a Saint-Porchaire, Charente-Maritime. La fortezza fu fondata nel 1475 da Jehan de Latour come struttura militare nella regione. Nel XVII secolo, la famiglia Courbon la trasformò in una comoda residenza e diede forma al suo aspetto attuale. La chiesa di Saint-Martin de Fontaines-d'Ozillac, nella Charente-Maritime della, è un edificio cattolico la cui fondazione risale al XI secoli. Zaanse Schans Olanda Paesi Bassi è un’area ancora oggi abitata ed è anche un museo all’aria aperta situato a nord-est di Amsterdam, sulle rive del fiume Zaan che attraversa Zaandam, nella municipalità di Zaanstad. Qui è possibile osservare come vivevano gli olandesi tra il XVII e il XVIII secolo. La fortezza di Samuele è una fortezza nella città vecchia di Ocrida, in Macedonia del Nord. Ocrida fu la capitale del primo impero bulgaro durante il governo dello zar Samuele di Bulgaria all'inizio dell'XI secolo.

This photo collection features images taken in various locations: around Salerno and the Amalfi Coast, in the French countryside, and in the Netherlands. The photographs include glimpses of the Salerno hills and Cetara, with the Torre Vicereale tower built during the Angevin period (14th century) for observation and as the primary defense of the Duchy of Amalfi. The tower was also the prison of Frederick of Aragon, the future King of Naples. The bastion has been remodeled several times, and the original cylindrical structure was supplemented with a double-height extension during the Aragonese period, along with two additional floors in the late 19th century.
